How important is it for your team to stay near the tournament venue?

Essential – Being close saves time and stress.
Nice to have – A bit of a drive is fine.
Not a priority – We’ll travel as needed.

What is the biggest challenge you face when booking hotels for your team?

Finding hotels that actually welcome teams (instead of just tolerating us).
Coordinating room blocks, meal options, and special requests.
Keeping the cost affordable for everyone.
All of the above.

How satisfied are you with the group perks your team typically receives?

Very satisfied – We’ve been treated like VIPs.
Somewhat satisfied – It’s hit or miss depending on the hotel.
Not satisfied – We feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests.

What would most improve your team’s stay?

Dedicated meeting spaces for team bonding or strategy sessions.
Complimentary breakfast or team meal options.
Easy group booking and room block management.
Flexible cancellation policies.
All of the above.

When dealing with hotels, how often do you feel supported as a coach/manager?

Always – The hotels we’ve stayed at really cater to teams.
Sometimes – It depends on the hotel and its staff.
Rarely – It’s a struggle to feel accommodated.
